Okazi leaf, known scientifically as Gnetum africanum, is a dark, leafy green vegetable with a slightly bitter taste. In English, it is commonly called wild spinach, while in Nigeria, it is known as Afang (Efik) or Okazi (Igbo), and in Cameroon, it is called Eru.
